Brandy and I met up with Matt and Linda for the Butch Walker show at Nectar last night. He put on a fantastic show. I’ve been a fan of his for quite a while and it was great to see him in a small venue like Nectar.

This is what happens in my house when there is a pile of clothes that needs to be folded.
Tweets Added
I’ve added my tweets from Twitter to the site. The tweets will appear inline with everything else I post here. My reasoning for this is that everything I post online should appear on this site in the order I posted it. What’s really interesting is that I have Brightkite feeding Twitter which then feeds this site. This site then feeds posts to Twitter, without duplicating tweets). I may turn this second piece off in the future, it just depends on how much noise I end up generating.

Changing to WordPress
I’m finding that Chyrp is a little limiting and have decided to migrate to WordPress. The site will be pretty ugly until I have time to do something about it. Of course this also breaks links and what not, but I’m working on that. Fixed the links issue. Simpler than I thought. The layout and style however…
$700,000,000,000
I think I just threw up in my mouth. Yep, pretty sure I did.
“Hey, I thought you said this site would be updated regularly”
It will be. I just started a new job. Get off me.
The WasteLands
Now starting The Waste Lands. I’m burning through these like nothing.
The Drawing of the Three
Moving on to The Drawing of the Three. I think this is my favorite in the series.
The Gunslinger
Currently re-re-re-re-reading The Gunslinger. I love this book. It has to be, without a doubt, the one book that I can return to over and over without ever getting tired of it.

This is one of a pair of stained glass peacocks in the living room of Graceland.
What’s Going On Here?
I’ve had a place here on the tubes for a few years now. My primary site (superextraultra.com) has been languishing for a while as I don’t often get out to shoot new photos and even if I do, I don’t get a lot of time to scan the photos in for posting. A month or so ago, I stumbled across Chyrp and thought I could use it to satisfy my desire to create a new site and also to have some flexibility with what I can post.
The general look of this site will slowly be changing as I learn how to modify Chyrp and make decisions on how I want to present the content. It may not always look pretty, but it should at least look like something.
I’m considering this to be a sort of new beginning. I’m not going to put any pressure on myself to produce anything. I’ll be posting a mix of text (like this post), links to interesting things on the web, photos and other stuff. If all goes well this site will receive a decent amount of attention.
